Kelford’s Ford & Mazda situated in the Helderberg is an independently owned family business with ties to Ford Motor Company in the UK since 1976. Owner and Managing Director Peter Kelly started his motor industry career as a Sales rep with a Main Ford Dealer in Manchester, England. On moving to Cape Town in the early 80’s he has been associated with Ford Motor Company in South Africa as franchise director for a major retail group which led to him being awarded both the Ford and Mazda franchises in 2003.

In 2005 Peter’s son Tristan joined the Kelford’s team after completing his B com degree in business at Stellenbosch University and is now Director responsible for New & Used Vehicle Sales. The Kelford’s management team also includes Linda married to Peter who has been involved as a Director responsible for Marketing since inception.

The family is firmly committed to the philosophy of ‘making customers for life’ offering outstanding service to our customers both past and present. Kelford’s is currently ranked in the top 30 Ford & Mazda dealers out of 123 dealers nationwide in terms of New Vehicle Sales and Market Share..an achievement we are very proud of.
